Goodreads: As we all know, to be a good writer you have to be a good reader. Good Reads is an amazing website that allows you to record your current reads, favorite books, and peruse the lists of your friends.

I’ve always enjoyed the website but the app for my iPhone is what really sold me. It features a barcode scanner that you can use to scan the book you’re currently reading and add it instantly to your bookshelf. It makes recording what I am reading that much easier and I don’t get too caught up in the social aspect of the site, when I am supposed to be reading… or writing.
